Open Mind with IT and Organisation Changes 2010/04/04

Must have a dynamic perspective on IT and organization. When the new IT system is implemented, the organization and processes are changed. Since users learn more and more about the new system and then bred with fresh ideas on how the organization can be optimized, consolidated and changed. This in turn requires that the IT system changes.
Management must understand the need for a balance between hard and soft factors of IT change. It is not enough with technology and structure – You must also work to change attitudes of staff, to adapt  the technology into practical terms so everyone can understand it, and to coach their employees to accept it. It requires an open mind.
